LIMITED EDITION AND COLLECTABLE BOARD GAME ( one of its kind)

I created a "family" board game titled, KWANZAA-O-RAMA [365 days]: This game was conceived 22- years ago, I put it on the shelf until I was able to devote the time, focus and energy, needed to create a board game that would convey my PASSION and SPIRIT about the importance of family and the QUALITY time spent together. This board game was not created solely for entertainment, but with the VISION of inspiring a KWANZAA-O-RAMA 365-days "MOVEMENT". A "MOVEMENT" is an act or process of moving a people or thing from one place or position to another. it is time for Black People to move from the position of self-destruction and a footstool for others to reclaiming our INTEGRITY, INTELLIGENCE, RESPECT, FAITH, PROSPERITY & LOVE for each other and our community.; the role of the KWANZAA-O-RAMA 365-days board game is to have ONE SET OF GOALS AND OBJECTIVES that we all follow, THE NGUZO SABA (KWANZAA PRINCIPLES): All BLACK PEOPLE, who are interested in changing the destructive path that our people are on, will join the [KORM] 365-days and adopt the NGUZO SABA PRINCIPLES as a life philosophy, the same as one does with their spirituality.

   IT DOES TAKE A VILLAGE TO RAISE A CHILD: it is the MISSION of [KORM] 365-days, to begin to RESTORE THE BLACK VILLAGE and provide a safe haven for our future generations and ELDERS, to reside in. YOU ARE EITHER PART OF THE SOLUTION OR THE PROBLEM: WHERE DO YOU STAND? The Kwanzaa-O-Rama 365 Days board game is educational, competitive and lots of fun. It was created as a way of encouraging the  Black American families, and others to spend quality time with children, grandchildren, extended family, and community learning and practicing the NGUZO SABAPRINCIPLES ,with  hopes of bringing the family unit closer together for the purpose of  better communications with each other. In playing this board game , it will create a comfortable environment for the family to have discussions about our history, as well as teaching one's self and children about our rich and extensive history. An appropriate quote from our distinguished ancestor, Frederick Douglass, simply stated: "If there is no struggle, there is no progress." This is quite evident when we compare the progress made during the 1950s, 60s, and 70s to the decline in 'consciousness' from the 80s until the present. it is evident that the CIVIL RIGHTTS MOVEMENT was one of  'conscious'-minds with a clear understanding of coaltion-building, organizing ,and investing in  family, race and community, which would unite and stregthen us as a black race; and that "consciousness-raising" must be a part of African Americans way of thinking and should be taught to our children, the same way other groups prepare their children for the future by indoctrinating them with strong PRINCIPLES.

Another profound quote of Frederic Douglass reminds the black community (individually & collectively) that great care must be given to raising our youths: "IT IS EASIER TO BUILD STRONG CHILDREN THAN TO REPAIR BROKEN MEN." The Truth in this quote screams out to us. Surely it is easier to raise strong children than to repair a broken  adult. A few more of Frederick Douglass quotes that I think has such profound meaning to me, and I feel the need to share it with my audience. "KNOWLEDGE MAKES A MAN UNFIT TO BE A SLAVE." How true this statement is. When one has taken the time to educate self (ability to think critically), you will not become a 'slave' to anyone. And this quote, again, from Frederick Douglass is to remind Black Americans, not to allow others to define us:  NGUZO SABA Principle (#2 KUJICHAGULIA): " THE SOUL THAT IS WITHIN ME NO MAN CAN DEGRADE." And lastly, this quote is to encourage our community to use a different set of lens for understanding how to make our past tragedy of SLAVERY into an oppressed people driven by the SPIRIT within, (not religion, but one's SPIRIT). "WE HAVE TO DO WITH THE PAST ONLY AS WE CAN MAKE IT USEFUL TO THE PRESENT AND FUTURE." Meaning, extract the good from this horrific experience, (we are RESILIENT PEOPLE); a gift from THE CREATOR.
